Well its been many many weeks designing and developing, and 1000 bottles of Advil later the moment of truth has finally arrived… launch day! This has been by far the most in depth project I’ve worked on yet because of the addition of new branding and a little more social media integration. I could not have done this without the help of some close friends and family, so I would like to take a quick moment to thank some of the people that have helped (knowingly or unknowingly) over the weeks.
First and foremost, I have to thank the most important person in my life, Celia. She has offered so much more than support through this whole process and I am humbled by how much I owe her for everything she has done. From keeping me level headed through the tough times, to providing feedback on some of the crazier ideas I’ve come up with (for better, or for worse). Thank you Celia, from the bottom of my heart.
Secondly, I’d like to thank some of the designers and developers that have assisted in the creation of the new brand. Cole Winans of Syneticus LLC has been an instrumental source of inspiration, feedback, and talent that without, this project may have never seen the light of day. The lovely background for the content was created by him, and graciously given to us for use. Kit Wilkins of Vojo Design was the genius behind our new logo that was desperately needed, and he did a fantastic job and came up with wonderful concepts that needed very little refining. Finally, I’d like to thank Trevor Delaney and Luke DeWitt who assisted us on aspects that eventually ended up getting cut from the final design, but nevertheless deserve recognition for their contributions.
Now that thanks are over with…
Lets talk about the new brand.
For those of you who are familiar with our old brand and website (my apologies) know that we needed a new identity in a very bad way. We wanted to show our potential clients that we really did have what it takes to create modern websites and identities, and frankly our old brand just wasn’t cutting it. We needed a new logo that was simple, stylish, and modern and Kit most certainly delivered the goods. Our website lacked basic interactivity and was a bore for nearly every visitor. We decided to make a more eye-popping, innovative, and interactive website with the use of a few simple additions such as the Flash motion graphics, lightboxes, and a blog. We will be posting new stories regularly here at our blog, so visit often!
We still have some additions for the website, mainly SEO aspects, but you can expect to see this site design for a while, as we are very happy with the end result.
Thanks for visiting, and please leave some feedback and other comments for us to read!
